The past few months my mentor has been having me run hand sized tattoos on slabs of synthetic skin, which is crazy to me because I built my machines from a box of parts essentially and hand made the needles I used to tattoo this. To me there is still alot of magic and mysticism in the old ways of tattooing and I am forever greatful for being brought up in tradition by someone who deeply cares for tattooing.
