It is said Koi was determined to reach the top of the waterfall so it persevered and succeeded. #megandreamtattoo I found out I had a tumor on my thyroid while I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I decided that if it was benign after surgery that I would get a tattoo to commemorate it by Megan and I sketched it up! This was two years ago. Now, unfortunately I have 4 more tumors on the opposite side of my thyroid. I am currently going through biopsies to see if they are malignant (cancerous) or benign. Not a story of pity but more about overcoming. This tattoo represents the inner child. One that is innocent and sees only beauty before the harshness of life can take over. Returning to a place of pure happiness.
