I also grew up on a farm in Cooper TX, sometimes would see a copperhead and I was always amazed at their beautiful color. I had my tattoo in the shape of a triquetra celtic knot to simbolize the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. One of my favorite anime charactures is Orochimaru from Naruto and he has the power to summon a giant snake named Manda. This snake has four horn like protrusions on his head. I also wanted the horns to have a certain shape to them.
