This tattoo follows the artstyle of Ringerike Viking art. This is typically seen in runestones of the 11th Century onward; animals are exceedingly curved and thin with almond-shaped eyes and thinner, longer tendrils. This particular tattoo took eleven redraws, to ensure that the body overlayed and underlaid properly. At no point is the over-under-over pattern broken. The runes, by pairs and starting from the head, chronicle every state and country that I have been to, in order, since my birth; Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, Belgium, Delaware, Virginia, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, and Indiana. Plenty of room has been left on the serpents body, as I've more places to go.
