Anastasia Powell is an artist above artists, in my humble opinion... A tad heavy handed for such a fine petit fitness fanatic, or maybe I'm just that much of a wuss, looking for some comfort in her chiselled yet oh so feminine arms! K, bullshit aside Anastasia and Troy have one hell of an operation going on here in the heart of E-town, beautifying the city.one piece at a time. Being a darker skinned, off white male, i was wondering how my full color Japanese inspired sleeve would hold up, specially since I tend to tan quite easily and often. But in the 12 years that i have had this piece, I haven't had a touch up, fade or anything other than brilliance from or.regarding my most prized.possession. Not to mention, still today., ao many years later, so much more ink taken, i still get stopped and complimented on this work of art. At the time, a full sleeve was a huge decision I had decided to undergo and to say I was nervous about it would be a profound understatement. Not because of the time, the cost or the commitment, but for the simple fact that "what if i.don't like it?" what if it sucks?" though i researched.many portfolios, including Anastasias, you still have questions right? But all those questions were squashed and replaced with nothing but pride and.delight when the final result was in. I have since moves to Vancouver, BC but, I till fly home to Edmonton when the ink urge hits. Because with all due respect to the countless phenomenal and amazing artists here in BC, including the likes of the world renown and rightfully so "The Flying Dutchman", amongst others, Anastasia Powell, Troy Ayers and the amazingly talented folks at the Eye of the Lotus Studio in Edmonton, is where I go to get beautified.. .everytime. Whether its more ink, or another hole in me, i would rather not go anywhere else. Thanks and keep up the amazing work guys....lots of love
