Fade FX | Skin FX

Skin FX is a private tattoo studio and gallery based in Hove, England. Run by Fade 'FX' Manning the studio specialises in custom geometric, dotwork, mandala and traditional hand tap tattooing. Fade Manning (aka Fade FX) is an internationally renowned tattoo artist who has tattooed all over the world. She is the only European tattoo artist trained in the ancient art of Iban hand tap tattooing which she learnt whilst living with the Iban tribe in the jungles of Borneo. Her career has been the focus of multiple articles and features in the tattoo press including the magazines Skin Deep, Tattoo Master, Total Tattoo and Skin Shots. She has appeared on television and radio in the UK talking about tattooing and been the subject of a short film by Emmy award winners Ember films. ​Tattooing can be be arranged by pre-booking as she likes to work with each client, one on one from the first consultation through to the final sitting: For this reason the studio does not accept any walk ins. All designs, from geometric patters to mandala are completely bespoke and unique to each client. Fade enjoys the creative freedom designing the perfect tattoo brings but of course welcomes the challenge of working with you to realise your design ideas and concepts.
