Just had my first tattoo done by Lucas and had a very positive experience!! He was very patient and gentle which made it a lot less nerve wracking! All of the other staff were extremely supportive and lovely which created a great atmosphere, and I generally had a really great time. Will definitely be back for more! 😆

I've had a number of tattoos with Bex and they've all been stunning designs and healed beautifully. The studio is really clean and calm, and the coffee is delicious! All the artists are really friendly and the work I've seen the others do looks great too. Photos attached - the big back piece was a blast over from a terrible teenage decision and Bex designed a great piece for maximum coverage without being too heavy (2 full days). The mandala took a full day. The shoulder piece is due for completion in April with another couple of hours on the shading to go. Highly recommend Freshly Ground Ink for a range of styles - and especially Bex for anything floral/mandala style as she's the master of these :)

Cara did my first ever tattoo and has since done my entire arm (and more!) The whole crew at FGI are lovely, it's a really welcoming place with a great atmosphere and talented artists.

Finding the right person to do my first tattoo took me 5 months. Alex Caldeira’s work really resonated with me as she designs meaningful tattoos beautifully and that’s exactly what she did for me. The design was perfect and Alex made sure I was comfortable. I absolutely love my new tattoo and I would definitely recommend Alex. Loved Sans Patrie Studio too!

I was so so lucky to have Katerina do my first tattoo! It was a fairly big project with a matching ornamental piece on my wrist and hip - and the art Katerina designed for me was even more beautiful than I had pictured in my mind. She so perfectly framed the lines of my body and took such care over the placement and design. I felt super listened to and super comfortable and can’t imagine a better experience.
