I call this one my little shitty boi tattoo only bc I went to the artist w this exact sketch from my sketchbook and was like “hey can I get this done today but you can tweak it to make it look professional”. The artist’s name was Mark and he did a really good job replicating it exactly as I’d drawn it; however, I just wish I’d done a better job of thinking this design through. There’s no balance w the eyes and the contour lines which is why i’m not so crazy about this piece.

Got this back in July of 2018, specifically on friday the 13th. It was a flash piece and I wanted tk get soemthing bold and memorable so went on with this one :) I really don’t regret it at all. The artist’s name was a lady named Leah at Shop 53 in La Plata, MD. This is the style I love doing and I enjoy the most.
Freehand on fingers.
I love it.“I went on a 14 day silent retreat and it was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done.Towards the end of the two weeks I had what I think I can only describe as an out of body experience during the 4am session. I felt an overwhelming bubble of sadness and guilt literally rise within me but it wasn’t mine I was just experiencing it for someone else, I opened my eyes in floods of soundless tears that also felt not mine.I forgave my mum there and then, and it felt natural that I would stand by her no matter what, no more distancing myself, no more pushing her to get help, I would just be there unconditionally. When I left and came back home my mum told me she had something to tell me. She’d woken up really early in the morning (around 4am) and she said it was then clear what she had to do and why she had to do it.I believe I felt what my mum was feeling. I still don’t know what my mum actually felt that morning but it gave her the power and motivation to change her life.”Faun babe. Customer brought in reference and i redrew it. Wish i knew who the original artist was to give credit. I like this one cause its my dad, but i just wish it was done better. Custom piece by the awesome Matt Kernley!! Done over at Authentic Tattoo Compmay in Raleigh, NC; this was/ is my first relatiely big piece and I love everything about it. I did this torch tattoo the other day. Lucus and I are super happy with how it turned out. I really enjoy tattooing this style. I was impressed by how well this guy sat through this tattoo. Good job man! I drew this on and tattooed it in one sitting. “I can hear the voices singing in the temple bells.” Thank you, Rachel, it was a pleasure making this #lilith for you.
