The opinion about freckles have always been divided. Some people hate their freckles while others don't mind. Some people also regard freckles as distinct qualities they're attracted to. Whichever side you may stand on the freckle debate, the temporary freckle tattoo trend is here.

The project was an idea that was first sparked up in late 2010. Since then, the Freck Yourself team have been conducting surveys, researching alternatives, interviewing manufacturers, and developing the product.

Freck Yourself teamed up with Cosmetix West to be able to develop the best alternative for the semipermanent freckle product. They conducted tests and developed prototypes over the course of twelve months.

Freck Yourself points out that their temporary freckle tattoo won't be like any other “freckle” product you've probably tried before because aside from the fact that these babies will last for days giving you the summery, “I had fun in the sun” look, they were also carefully designed to resemble natural freckles as opposed to random-looking eye pencil spots on the skin.
