Will You Go Drink and Get Inked at This Bar?
This bar in Liverpool is defying the golden rule of getting tattooed. Our partying-hard friends at Liverpool are up for a high night.
That's a step above their usual cocktails and tequila shots. Just a couple days ago, Ink, Liverpool's first tattoo bar opened on Wood Street, next to St. Peter's Square—one of Liverpool's finest.
It's pretty given that no one should get tattooed under the influence of alcohol but this bar is pretty much saying ‘screw that’ and is doing its own thing. The Ink bar will be providing good music, tattoo services, and an all-around hyped atmosphere. Besides, living it up is pretty much synonymous with getting tattoos, anyway. I'm not much for partying myself but this seems to be the bar I won't be saying no to.

Seems like they got off to a good start last Friday!

The place is also a piece of art itself. With most of its wall decorated by artist Danny O'Connor, it's definitely the place to let loose for like-minded people who share a love for ink and alternative lifestyles.
If the ink doesn't make you want to party with them, then perhaps the familiar faces would. People like celebrity barber Cut Throat Pete will be seen hanging around the bar while DJs like Dave Whelan and Zeke will be turning things up with their brand of music.
The people at Ink are very excited about it. General manager Sean Royden quips, “We can’t wait to introduce Ink to Liverpool this weekend, or to see the first tattoo that gets inked in the bar. We’ve crafted a cocktail menu that we’re very proud of, to fit nicely with the soundtrack being laid down by some of the country’s top DJs. It’s going to be a great atmosphere.”
Ink has room for 700 people and a variety of cocktails, carefully chosen and crafted by the staff. Follow them on Twitter.
