In 1978 St Paul Minnesota hosted this crazy tattoo convention.
Back then the art of tattooing was still not acceptable in society (actually I don't know if nowadays you can say that it is 100%), but people from all over went there to show their support for the art form. They showed that every kind of person could pull off a nice tattoo with the right design and the right heart for it. This tv report is really cool and teaches us not just the way they talked about tattoos back then, but also some of the designs they sported, which are not far from what we see nowadays! Pretty cool tattoo history lesson! So check it out: The Invasion Of The Flesh Etchers, Tattoo Convention 1978.
