Jeremy Nieves is an Americana enthusiast and he specializes in traditional style tattoos. At Richmond Tattoo & Vintage his store in Stapleton, Staten Island NY his customers get a totally different experience. Clients can walk into the shop and get a personalized traditional design, but that's not the only unique thing on offer. This artsy shop has a great display of antique trinkets handpicked by Nieves and his wife both avid fans of vintage and retro objects. You can buy anything from Campbell Soup kid dolls and Doors and Michael Jackson albums, to salt and pepper shakers with the likeness of former President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Onassis on them.

Jeremy Nieves says "A lot of the items we sell branch off the tattoo theme. Since I was younger I have been collecting records," he said. "We travel around New Jersey, Long Island, and other places to find these items."

Jeremy Nieves' style is bold and colorful just as traditional Americana style should be and Nieves works with two other artists at the shop. The informal friendly shop style parlor makes his place unique and if you walk in for a consultation they will be happy to help you pick out a design. Nieves says "I enjoy taking the actual likeness of a person and translating it into the Americana traditional style.
